PIEMINSTER
The wait is officially over, a REAL tasting gluten free PIE
has arrived.
Prepared in a dedicated gluten free kitchen, devoid of cross
contamination, the multi award winning Bristol based pie makers at Pieminster
have created (dare I say it?!) an unbeatable product.
With three major flavours; Heidi (goats cheese, sweet potato
and spinach), Moo (steak and GF ale) and Ranger (chicken, ham and leek) they
use UK sourced higher welfare dairy, meat and eggs as well as 100% free range
chicken and pork. Unlike other products on the market, Pieminster pies are
generously filled with big chunks of quality and tasty meat and vegetables and
have a great crust to filling ratio.
Speaking of the crust… Each golden pie not only holds
together but has a savoury buttery flakiness to it, which according to my non
gluten free eater friends “You can’t taste the difference”! What more could you
ask for?!
As a lover of anything pastry based I found these premium
pies to be a true triumph and I see them being a regular addition to my
shopping basket.
Pies cost £4.50 and are available to buy from Waitrose and
Ocado.
They also feature as part of a gluten free menu at all
Pieminster restaurants (http://www.pieminister.co.uk/restaurants/)
