Visiting Cereal Killer Cafe is like stepping into a 90s time warp.
Think spice girls wallpaper, furbies, beanie babies (with the tag still on, obviously), VHS boxes instead of table numbers and the ghostbuster theme tune playing on a CD.
It is the epitome of hipster and an homage to my childhood.
Aside from this trip down memory lane the Cereal Killer Cafe is first and foremost a place to eat.
The menu is very simple and comprises of cereal, milk and toppings.
With knowledgable staff and handy GF symbols on the menu its a pretty easy dining experience. Options include gluten free Cheerios, Chex and Cornflakes and toppings such as fruit, chocolate chips and nuts.
For me, a visit can only mean one thing... the Cereal Cocktail 'The Luckiest Charm' (containing Lucky Charms, marshmallows and milk) 🍭🌈💕This gluten free mix tastes like a bowl of nostalgia and will have you flash-backing circa '98! 👧🏻👧🏻👧🏻
(and potentially reaching for a bottle of Gaviscon!)
I mean, who doesn't love cereal?!
