Situated slap-bang in the middle of East London you will find Strut & Cluck. A welcoming and warm Eastern Mediterranean restaurant serving up a hearty menu of free range turkey and vegetables.

This may seem simple, but the food is everything but, its distinctive, delectable and down right good.

All gluten free options are marked clearly on the menu and the staff and kitchen are extremely well informed, I assure that you will feel completely relaxed and looked after.

Their free range turkey is not only lean and nutrient rich but is the perfect bird to carry such versatile flavours. You will find that the turkey is tender and falls apart and with GF options such as Slow-Roast Thigh on a bed of caramelised red onions & sweet potatoes with barberries or the Sticky Wings smothered with harissa, honey & rosemary we (us gluten free) are 'well in'.

As for the vegetables, even the most simple of dishes such as the Charcoal Grilled Vegetables are executed with perfect precision. Despite being a 'turkey restaurant' I would urge any vegetarians and vegans to visit.

And for any cauliflower fans their signature dish is not to be missed. Served as a quarter, half or whole the charred cauliflower is dressed in a winning combination of lemon zest infused creme fraiche and pomegranate molasses.

If all that isn't tempting enough there are even three GF desert options! A flourless chocolate mousse cake, levant rosewater pudding with raspberry treacle and a baked haroset, fruit and almond cake...

I guarantee Strut & Cluck will have you sashaying to East London at any given opportunity.

Directions: Turn right out of Shoreditch Highstreet onto Wheeler Street and walk all the way down. The street will then join onto Commercial Street, you need to cross the road and Strut & Cluck will be on your right.
